While most of us wouldn't be fans of spending time in airports at any other time of year, there is definitely something magical about Dublin Airport at Christmas.
Families, friends and couples have been reuniting at the airport over the past week as they prepare to celebrate the festive season with their nearest and dearest and this Christmas is going to be particularly special for one couple.
Jonathan Carroll popped the question to a very surprised Mary Francis Turner at Terminal 2 this morning and the couple are now officially engaged.
The Tubridy Show on 2FM happened to be broadcasting from the airport and captured the special moment live on air.
