A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Lisa Dorrian, who was last seen over 20 years ago.
25-year-old Lisa was last seen on Sunday, February 27, 2005, in Ballyhalbert, Co Down, where she was attending a party in Ballyhalbert Caravan Park.
Police believe Lisa was murdered that night or in the early hours of the morning.
However, the police have arrested a man on suspicion of Lisa's murder.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team, investigating the murder of 25-year-old Lisa Dorrian, have made an arrest.
"The 68-year-old man was arrested earlier today, Monday 8 December, on suspicion of murder, assisting offenders, withholding information and preventing a lawful and decent burial. He remains in police custody at this time," per Belfast Live.
Ever since Lisa's disappearance, the Dorrian family have been fighting for answers. Unfortunately, Lisa's mother passed away before ever finding out what happened to her eldest daughter.
