A 34-year old man was arrested in California over the weekend, after trying to pitch a career in the porn industry to teenage girls at a county fair.
Aaron Gimbert was taken into custody after approaching underage girls at the Alameda County Fair, passing out business cards for a company called ‘Big Pimpin’ Inc’. The business cards also offered a signing bonus to girls who signed up as part of an 18th birthday contract.
Local media, KTVU reported that a 16-year-old girl named Justice was approached by Gimbert when her mother took her brother to get water.
She told police that after asking Justice her age, Gimbert told her to take his card and call him when she turned 18, telling the teen she’d “make a good porn star.”
After Justice told her mum about the incident, the family informed the police who went undercover and caught Gimbert handing out the card to a number of young girls. The 34-year old was also wearing an employee tshirt, and was employed by the fair to work on the stalls.
The county’s sexual assault felony enforcement team investigated the allegation and have charged him with attempting to solicit children.
The state fair commented that since Gimbert was only a part-time employee, no background check had been carried out.
