Met Éireann predict we’re in for ALL kinds of weather today

Olivia Hayes

Bring an umbrella… just in case.

While the weather forecaster has predicted that we’re in for sun during the long weekend, it’s looking like today and tonight will be quite dreary.

With fog, some showers and high temperatures, Met Éireann say we’re in for all kinds of weather today.

“Dense patches of mist or fog in many areas this morning. Rain in east Leinster and much of Ulster, gradually clearing to the northeast this afternoon. It will gradually brighten up with some sunny spells and a few showers. Highest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees with light east to southeast breezes.”

Meanwhile, for tonight: “Tonight will be mainly dry with clear spells. Patches of mist and fog will develop in many areas and there may be a little drizzle along the southwest coast. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees.”

Tomorrow is looking better though, with most rainy patches clearing to leave us with a bright, sunny day.

“Wednesday will be mild and dry with sunny spells after mist and fog clear. Highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees with moderate southeast breezes, coolest along the east coast and mildest in Connacht.”

Can it be tomorrow already?
