Met Éireann say the weather forecast for today is pretty grim
It's not looking great.
If you're an early riser then you already know that it's Baltic out, and while temperatures are going to rise throughout the day, the rain is going to lash down on us.
Met Éireann has predicted a rather wet day with a few foggy patches.
"It will start dry today with spells of sunshine and a few fog patches. However, cloud will steadily build during the day and rain will push in to affect parts of the west and northwest by late morning.

"The rain will then extend eastwards across the country during the afternoon and evening but it will turn increasingly light and patchy with many southern and eastern counties holding dry. Top temperatures will range 15 to 18 degrees in freshening southwest winds."
Tonight will be mild enough, but there will still be spells of rain.
"Mild and windy tonight with outbreaks of rain and drizzle pushing eastwards across the country. Minimum temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in strong and gusty southwest winds."
