The Michael Jackson History Show has been cancelled at the Cork Opera House.

The show which was selling fast has been pulled after the controversial documentary following Michael Jackson started airing last week.

The series “Leaving Neverland“, follows two men who state they were sexually abused by the star as children. In their graphic tell-all, they give the audience a raw picture of what went on behind the gates of the Thriller star’s Los Angeles home.

It is now believed that the event group Showtime Australia cancelled the gig set for the Opera House on May 14.

Many radio stations are too, pulling the star’s music, with RTÉ noting that they have “no plans” to put his music back on their playlists as viewers might find it insensitive.
