Looks like the good weather is here for the weekend.
The weather has been absolutely glorious over the past few days, and if you were hoping for it to continue like this into the weekend, then you’re in luck.
Saturday and Sunday are set to be bright, sunny days with the mercury hitting highs of 17 degrees at times.
According to Met Éireann, today, Friday 25 March will be a “largely dry day” with “widespread sunny spells” in the afternoon. There will however be some scattered showers developing later today, and highest temperatures will be between 14 and 17 degrees with a “light breeze”.
Despite a misty and foggy start to Saturday morning, we can expect another sunny day tomorrow, with the Irish Meteorological Service forecasting it to be “another dry and pleasant day with spells of sunshine”. Temperatures will be between 13 and 17 degrees, and, like today, there will be a light breeze.

Looking ahead to Sunday, mist and fog will clear in the morning making way for day of “long sunny spells”. Sunday will also be a dry day, though Met Éireann has said that there will be a “little bit of cloud bubble up in the west”. Highest temperatures will be between 13 and 17 degrees.
The weather is then set to become a little cooler and a little cloudier as we head into next week.
On Monday, temperatures will be between 13 and 16 degrees, and while there will be some sunny spells, there will be some cloudy periods as well and some isolated showers.
Tuesday will be cloudier still, and as the winds turn northerly, it looks like it will bring an end to the sunny spells, as Met Éireann forecasts a “cold change to the weather” with highs of 12 to 14 degrees.
Wednesday will be “noticeably colder”, with scattered showers and highs of 6 to 9 degrees.
