A mother and her newborn baby have been found dead in a hotel room in England.
They were discovered "unresponsive" at a Travelodge in Leicester City Centre. The hotel is located near the Haymarket Shopping Centre.
The alarm was raised by the hotel staff. Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after 3pm, according to Leicester Live.
Both the mother and her baby were taken to the hospital, but despite the healthcare workers' best efforts, they were both pronounced dead at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

The paramedics contacted the police, who also attended the scene.
They made the call after discovering the mother and baby in the hotel room. They believe the baby had just been delivered in the hotel room.
