The Luxury Valentine’s Day dine-in offer is back at M&S and it sounds delicious

Trine Jensen-Burke

No FOMO here.

Nope. We are ALL about staying in these days, and the Dine In offers at M&S are making our lives that much easier – and tastier.

And Valentine’s Day is no exception, with the food retailer bringing back their ultimate luxury Valentine’s Day Dine-In menu – bigger and better than ever before, offering restaurant-quality food to be enjoyed from the comfort of our own homes.

For just €25– hungry diners can tuck into a starter, main, side, dessert, a box of chocolates and bottle of drink and save up to a whopping €31.40.

M&S says there are 30 different options to choose from, with main dishes including British rump steaks, beef Bourgignon and duck breasts in a plum sauce. There is also a yummy-sounding vegetarian main option, the Gastropub 2 Butternut & Red Onion En-croute.

“This Valentine’s Dine-In menu is an absolute showstopper and offers incredible savings for our customers – up to €31.40!” explains April Preston, Director of Product Development at M&S.

“We have introduced delicious new options this year whilst bringing back the classics that we know our customers love.  For chocolate lovers – you must try the Nuts About You Cheesecake – it is magical!’

The fantastic menu also includes Garlic Prawn Love Hearts (scallop shells filled with peeled Honduran king prawns with parsley, garlic and herb butter heart), Gastropub Butternut & Red Onion En-croutes (roasted butternut squash with caramelised red onions and spinach, wrapped in puff pastry topped with pumpkin and sunflower seeds) and a Nuts About You Cheesecake (baked praline chocolate cheesecakes decorated with a milk chocolate heart and roasted hazelnuts).  To drink – you can also add an additional bottle of Dine-In wine or Prosecco for only €10.

Also making a come-back this year is the infamous M&S Love Sausage everyone wanted to get their hands on last year.

The heart-shaped pork sausage has a hint of truffle, is wrapped in smoked bacon and comes in a handy baking tray.

This year, the original is joined by the Give a Little Love Sausage, a twin pack of heart-shaped, truffle-infused pork sausages that are ideal for breakfast.

M&S says: “Enjoy on top of muffins, crumpets, or simply crack an egg in the middle and serve – because as we all know, love comes in packages of all sizes.”

Last year the original Love Sausage sold out in minutes, with shoppers eager to get their hands on the novelty sausage. The sausage even took off on social media, with #LoveSausage trending, and happy customers sharing snaps of their heart-shaped breakfast treat.
