A new weather warning has just been issued.
Met Éireann has released a nationwide weather warning for freezing temperatures.
The weather forecaster revealed that temps could fall to -5 degrees Celsius across Ireland tonight.

“Minimum of minus 3 or minus 4 expected widely tonight, perhaps locally falling to minus 5 Celsius,” the met.ie website reads.
Today will be largely dry with just an isolated shower this morning. The afternoon will brighten up with sunny spells developing. Max temps 3 to 6°C.
Widespread severe frost tonight. -3 to -5°C

Earlier today, Met Éireann reported that we’re in for a mainly dry day, with a few showers (of course), but it will be tonight and this evening that will see the worst of it.
According to met.ie: “Today will be largely dry with just an isolated shower this morning. The afternoon will brighten up with sunny spells developing. Highest temperatures 3 to 6 degrees in moderate to fresh northeast winds.
