It’s going to be frosty.
While tonight we’re going to see temperatures take a dip, the rest of the week is looking worse.
Met Éireann has announced that Monday night will see “Cold, calm and frosty with the risk of icy stretches. Most areas will be dry and clear, though a few showers will affect northern coasts. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +2°C.”
The weather forecaster gave a breakdown of the entire week, and it’s looking frosty af:

TUESDAY: Generally dry to begin, however a persistent spell of heavy rain will gradually move up from the southwest through the day, reaching all but northern areas by evening. There is a slight risk of sleet or wet snow for a time in parts of the midlands and west.

(TUESDAY) Turning breezy too, especially along south and east coasts. Spot flooding is likely also. Highest temperatures of just 4 to 9°C (north to south). Precipitation will continue into the night-time hours, tending to clear eastwards later.

WEDNESDAY: Lingering overnight rain across Leinster will clear during the morning, mostly dry elsewhere, but with some frost and ice patches. Dry everywhere into the afternoon with good sunny spells and light variable breezes. Cold though, with highs of only 4 to 7°C.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Wet and breezy weather will move in from the west later in the night, possibly some frost in the early night.
THURSDAY: Wet and breezy through much of the day, in brisk southwesterlies. The mildest day this week with maxima in the double figures.
