Last week, a player in the United Kingdom scooped €190 million, the absolute maximum allowed by the game’s rules. Last night, the €26.3 jackpot has gone untouched.

However, there was some sweet news for one Dublin player who will wake up this morning half a million smackers better off.

The EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000 was scooped by a Dubliner — the winning numbers were 2, 10, 18, 26 and 27.

The numbers drawn for the main prize, which will go uncollected, were 3, 28, 31, 32, 34, with Lucky Stars of 4 and 5. And while nobody is getting their hands on the €26.3million, at least 41,000 players in Ireland did win some kind of prize.

So get checking those tickets, especially if you’re in Dublin.

There are no details yet about where exactly the winning ticket was sold.
