Two men have died following a road crash that took place in Co Louth during the early hours of this morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 1.30am on the N2 road between Ardee and Collon.
It is reported that the two men, both in their twenties, were travelling in the car which hit a bridge and a tree. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The second man died later in hospital.
