The jackpot was worth €17 million.

In what is possibly one of the best ways to start off a weekend, someone in Ireland struck it rich in last night’s EuroMillions draw.

The jackpot of the draw was worth a cool €17 million last night – while the EuroMillions Plus had a top prize of €500,000.

The lucky digits drawn to scoop up the top prize were: 3, 14, 31, 36, 50 and the lucky stars were 1 and 12.

Although nobody won the top prize, four players in other areas of Europe won €250,750 after matching five numbers and one star.

Meanwhile, the winning numbers for the EuroMillions Plus – which had a €500,000 jackpot – were: 10, 14, 19, 37 and 49.

One player had the winning numbers – and, according to the National Lottery, the ticket was sold in Dublin.

There has been no word yet on which location sold the winning ticket.

It comes as the lucky locations where two Dublin players bought their Lotto tickets were revealed.

Each one of the punters won a huge sum in the draw on Wednesday night.

One of them won €330,017 in the Lotto Match 5+ Bonus Prize – and bought the Quick Pick ticket at Gaskins Centra Store in Glasnevin in Dublin 11.

The winning numbers were 8, 14, 28, 29, 35 and 44 with a bonus of 30.

Meanwhile, someone else won the jackpot in the Lotto Plus 2 – where the numbers drawn were 11, 18, 20, 28, 30, 38 and the bonus of 47.

The Quick Pick ticket, which saw the player won €250,000, was sold at Dunnes Stores in the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre in Dublin 15.
