According to RTÉ News, the former Manchester United captain was allegedly seen ‘swearing and making obscene gestures’ through the window of a taxi in Altrincham town centre.

The incident occurred at 11.30am this morning and led to police being called to the scene.

“At 11.30am, police were called to Ashley Road, Altrincham, to a report that a man had behaved aggressively towards another man”, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said.
