Popular Dublin nightclub Copper Face Jacks is up for sale
Well, this is a surprise.
Coppers is famous for boozy nights out, nurses and guards, as well as cringey tunes that we all love a good bop to.
Some love it, some hate it; however if you're stuck for somewhere to go at 2am when all the other Dublin nightclubs close, it's definitely the place to go.
According to the Irish Times, Copper Face Jacks is officially up for sale, with sources saying it could sell for up to €40 million.
Along with the Jackson Court Hotel, the club went on sale on Thursday by private treaty.
“The opportunity to acquire both the iconic ‘Coppers’ and the substantial Jackson Court Hotel is one of those projects that come to market once in a generation,” Dermot Curtin, of DC Curtin & Associates, who has been appointed to manage the sale, said.
“It is now time to hand over the reins to new owners who have the energy and the expertise to take Coppers to the next level," the owner, Cathal Jackson commented.
