Famous boxing promoter Frank Moloney has confirmed that he is now living as a woman called Kellie.
Moloney, who guided Lennox Lewis to a world heavyweight title and has also worked with Irish boxer Darren Sutherland, revealed the news to the Sunday Mirror and said that she had always known that she had been born in the wrong body.
“I wasn’t born into the right body, I have always known I was a woman. I can’t keep living in the shadows.”
“At this very moment, I am preparing to live the rest of my life as a single person. I hope society will be open minded. I know I could have done my job in boxing as a female.”
Maloney retired last October and is now undergoing gender reassignment.
