Samsung Debuts The Brand New Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge

Some small but very welcome changes made

Samsung has finally unveiled the successors to the Galaxy S6 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona after numerous leaks about the new handset’s specs.

For those of you who want more storage, ARSTechnica reports the MicroSD slot for a memory card has returned, and will be a welcome change from the previous S6 model where the signature Samsung feature was abandoned.

There’s also a whole extra gigabyte of RAM in the new Samsung at 4GB, which means this phone will be even faster than the already super speedy S6.

Both the S7 and the S7 Edge are due to be released on March 11th and preorders begin today.

Although the phones look identical at a glance, the rear camera no longer sticks out which will come as a relief to those who hated that element of the S6’s design.

The back of the phone is also water and dust resistant, even with prolonged submersion in water.

For those who love a good camera feature, the S7 will come with a dual sensor lens, meaning much faster auto-focusing so pictures taken on the go will be even sharper.
