If you're a makeup lover, we've got some good news to kick-start your week, as Sephora will finally make its way to Ireland.
There will be no need to travel to England anymore to get your bulk supply of Sephora favourites, as Sephora UK has just revealed the exact date you'll be able to visit the first ever Sephora store on the island of Ireland.
The first Sephora on the island of Ireland is set to open in Belfast at Victoria Square Shopping Centre on February 12, with Sephora UK teasing it as an “iconic moment”.
This landmark debut will mark Sephora's 13th store in the United Kingdom, and the first on the island of Ireland.
The new store has been described as a 2,550-square foot “beauty playground in the heart of Belfast’s main shopping district”.
This new Belfast opening reflects the brand's commitment to building deeper connections with communities as well as making Sephora's retail experience increasingly accessible to more people.
The store will also bring a number of beloved viral brands which are exclusively available in Sephora to the island of Ireland for the first time, such as Hailey Bieber’s Rhode, Haus Labs Lady Gaga, Makeup By Mario, Merit Beauty, INNBeauty Project, and Tower 28 alongside some other viral sensations such as Tatcha, Glossier, Glow Recipe, Rare Beauty, Sol De Janeiro, and Kosas.
Sephora UK has hinted at a major launch, noting that since opening its first UK store in 2023, each debut has become an “iconic moment rooted in the cultural zeitgeist.”
They went on to say it will be “filled with entertainment from local and emerging talents, curated queue experiences, and the tastiest delicacies from favourite local culinary hot spots”, adding: “all of which will be a part of the ‘pure beaut’ grand opening when Sephora UK opens its doors in Belfast”.
It's believed the opening will also include the potential of on-the-spot prizes.
Managing Director of Sephora UK, Sarah Boyd, said: "We are so excited to announce that our first opening for 2026 will be another first for Sephora UK – our first store in Northern Ireland in Belfast’s Victoria Square."
"We’re truly committed to living up to our name of Sephora UK by bringing our beauty playgrounds to all corners of the nation. Belfast is a city filled with important history, areas of outstanding natural beauty, and we cannot wait to become a part of the local community," per the Irish Mirror.
