A serial sex offender has been jailed for sexually assaulting a Brazilian student he met on Tinder.
Patrick Nevin has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison for the assault of the student he met via the app in 2014.
The 37-year-old pleaded guilty last June to raping another woman and sexually assaulting a third in the same year.
He continues to deny the charge of sexual assault on the Brazilian woman.
RTE reports that each of the three attacks took place during an 11 day period.
Nevin had met each of the women on Tinder. He collected them from their homes in his car before bringing them to secluded locations and raping or sexually assaulting them.
He has eight previous convictions including sexual assault and the possession of a stun gun.
He will be sentenced for his attacks on the other women in December.
