The Terrifying Moment a McDonalds Employee Falls in Hot Oil is Caught on Camera

Cassie Delaney

Working in a kitchen is stressful at the best of times.

We imagine McDonalds would be one of the busier places to work and footage captured on a CCTV camera proves just how treacherous the conditions could be.

Angela Buza is a manager at a store in the southeast of Melbourne and was walking around the kitchen when she slipped and fell into an open bucket. The bucket contained 160C oil, according to The Herald Sun.

Franchisees are encouraged to drain oil through specialized caddie pumps so the bucket was not supposed to be where it was. The chain has been fined $45,000 for the incident. Angela now needs skin grafts to her arms.
