The Totally Awky Moment a Politican Forgot How To Say The Date

Die for you.

Cassie Delaney

So the Scottish Education Minister Angela Constance appeared on TV the other night to chat about her parties Higher Education Policy.

She spoke to Gordon Brewer on BBC Scotland’s Sunday Politics Scotland Show about the party’s policy to maintain free education, specifically easing access for lower income families.

But poor Angie was left “red-faced” when she momentarily veered from her argument and stumbled over the day. She became flustered when instead of saying “2012” she said “twenty thousand and twelve”. Gas.

Things got so much more awkward when it emerged she didn’t realise the interview was live (*insert monkey covering eyes emoji here*). She asked Brewer is she could begin again, he agreed but gently reminded the politician that the interview was live.

She looked mortified, acknowledged her mistake and continued the interview.

Mort.

The former social worker and Glasgow University Graduate has yet to comment on the incident.
