Tipp FM announce sponsorship of the Tipperary Senior Camogie team

Here come the girls!

Fantastic news for the Tipperary Senior Camogie team.

This year, they are sponsored by Tipp FM and the radio station is dedicated to getting behind these talented ladies, with an impressive social media and billboard campaign.

As you’ll see from the above image, senior players Cait Devane, Nicole Walsh and Mary Ryan are fronting the campaign in a bid to promote the sport that means so much to them.

Here at Her, we feel very strongly about female empowerment and seeing a radio station shout about their county camogie team is something worth supporting.

Although there has always been on-air coverage of the team’s performance, this year Tipp FM wanted to go that bit further and encourage the Premier County’s camogie players.

Commenting on the campaign, Tipp FM’s General Manager Susan Murphy said:

“We are building a strong relationship with Tipperary Camogie as this is our second year being involved and we are delighted with the association. Apart from more coverage and on-air promotion of the game on Tipp FM, we also felt that is was important to generate as much awareness as we could of the game and even more importantly to promote a very positive message right across the County, one that can apply to everyone. The picture was shot by local photographer Denis Vahey and the girls look amazing, they are wonderful role models and ambassadors for the game. We hope that people pick up on the message in particular”.

Bridget Bourke, Chairperson of Tipperary Camogie, is also delighted with the collaboration:

“Tipperary Camogie are delighted with the ongoing support from Tipp FM as our main sponsors, they have highlighted Camogie across the county in a very positive way. The bill board concept is fabulous along with the message it delivers. “Set your goals high and don’t stop until you get there” We thank Tipp FM for going the extra mile for our players who so deserve this support and recognition”.

Phenomenal girl power!
