Today FM has said that it has spoken to Al Porter in relation to comments being made about the presenter online.
In a statement issued to Her on Friday evening, the radio station said: "Today FM has spoken with Al Porter and his management team concerning these online comments.

"We take any comments of this nature extremely seriously. Likewise, we take the welfare of our presenters and staff extremely seriously.
"Today FM is not commenting any further at this time."
Al Porter is currently one of Ireland's most high-profile and in-demand presenting talents. He recently fronted Blind Date on TV3 and his arrival at Today FM earlier this year was a major coup for the station.
Presenting its lunchtime show (a slot once occupied by Dermot and Dave) Mr Porter also previously worked at 2FM.
