Reporter Dom Tiberi of CBS in Colombus, fought back the tears as he received an exceptionally warm welcome back to work after losing his precious 21-year-old daughter, Maria, in a tragic car accident.
Ohio State University Buckeyes team showed the utmost respect to one of their favour reporters by sporting decals on their uniforms in memory of Dom’s daughter.
The team wanted to let Dom know just how good it was see him back, and as they left the pitch, each player gave the man a hug.
The support and fantastic gesture, which is extremely emotionally to watch, was caught by CBS camera crew, the reporter was unaware that it was being filmed.
The video reminds us that life is fleeting and strength to carry on can often come from support offered in the most surprising of places.
