British-Australian Jolie King and her boyfriend Mark Firkin were travelling from Australia to the UK when they decided to stop in Iran.

The couple, who have been documenting their trip, decided to stop in Iran to try and “end the stigma” around the country according to The Mirror.

However, while getting fabulous shots for their Instagram which boasts over 20,000 followers, the pair were allegedly arrested as they were flying their drone without a licence according to the Iranian laws.

The pair were arrested in Tepan and sent to Evin prison which has been dubbed as a ‘notorious” jail near the capital.

The pair were arrested 10 weeks ago and are still awaiting trail.

Jolie and Mark left Australia in 2017 on a roadtrip which would eventually see them settle in the UK.

According to The Times , the couple wrote online:

“Our biggest motivation behind the vlogs is to hopefully inspire anyone wanting to travel, and also try to break the stigma around travelling to countries which get a bad rap in the media.”
