Ireland’s inclement weather has hit Munster pretty hard today, Cork in particular.
There is currently a Status Orange Rain Warning in place for Cork and a Status Yellow warning for Counties in Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford. Both warnings are valid until 6am on Monday the 11th of April.
A Status Yellow Wind Warning is in place for Galway, Mayo, Wexford and all of Munster until 9pm today (10th). Road users are advised to be cautious as wind blown debris is likely to be an issue.
AA Roadwatch have told drivers to exercise caution when on the roads, with surface water on the N25 Cork/Waterford Road in both directions, Catherine Street in Youghal being impassable due to flooding, and further floods in Cloyne, Midleton.
