Two Donegal men have been charged with the murder of a 66-year-old man in Australia.
24-year-old Christopher McLaughlin and 21-year-old Nathan Kelly were arrested following the assault of the man in the Sydney suburb of Summer Hill over a week ago.
The pair were charged with grievous bodily harm after the man, who has not yet been named, was left in a critical condition in hospital.
He passed away yesterday morning.
RTE reports that following the death, the men's charges were upgraded to murder.
McLaughlin and Kelly remain in custody and are expected to appear before Burwood Local Court tomorrow.
They arrived in Australia just a few months ago.
