The family have been reunited in Poland.
Amelia Anisovych, a 7-year-old Ukrainian girl who went viral for singing while sheltering from the Russian invasion, has finally been reunited with her mother in Poland.
Amelia was sheltering with her family in Ukraine and her mother filmed her singing Let It Go from Frozen and uploaded it to social media.
The clip quickly garnered global attention, and it even reached Idina Menzel, who played Queen Elsa in the Disney film.
A few weeks ago, it was reported that Amelia had made it to Poland with her brother and her grandmother, but her parents had stayed behind to support the Ukrainian troops amid Russia’s invasion.
Now, her mother Lilia has arrived in Poland and the pair have been reunited.
Amelia recently performed the Ukrainian National Anthem to a packed stadium in the Polish city of Lodz, and her proud mum waited for her backstage.

She told the PA News Agency: “I was behind the stage and she was brought to me immediately after the performance.
“Her happy grandmother Vera was watching in the hall… is there a grandmother out there who would not be proud of her granddaughter in that moment?”
Amelia’s father Roman remains in Ukraine, and, according to Lilia, they talk to him everyday.
She said: “Amelia is very sad but hopes to meet him soon.”
She added that her daughter was “lucky to be saved”, and pointed out how many Ukrainian children have been killed in the violent war.
Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began, the United Nations has estimated that 10 million people have left their homes. These figures include 3.5 million people who have fled the country entirely.
9,000 Ukrainians have arrived in Ireland and over 20,000 Irish people have said that they will open their homes to accommodate the new arrivals.
