While nobody won the EuroMillions jackpot of €74,515,266 - which means it will roll over to over €80 million next time - there was one mega winner of a secondary prize in Ireland.
As part of the Ireland Only Raffle EuroMillions draw on Friday night, there was one lucky winner of the €1 million jackpot.
The ticket was sold in the SuperValu store in the Kilbarry Centre on Tramore Road in County Waterford.
Karl Carter, the store manager, said: "We’re absolutely delighted. It’s been great craic spreading the word to our customers this morning.
"I haven’t a clue who the winner is but the €7 Quick Pick ticket was bought in the store yesterday. Whoever it is is about to have a great Christmas."
The winning code on the EuroMillions ticket for the Ireland Only Raffle is I-CWQ-43032.
