Urgent appeal as Irish teen reported missing in the UK

An urgent appeal has been issued after an Irish teenager has been reported missing in the UK.

Sussex Police have issued an appeal to the public to help find a missing 17 year old only named Mary-Anne who was last seen in Eastbourne.

Sharing the appeal to social media, Sussex Police said on Thursday: “Have you seen Mary-Anne who has been reported missing from Eastbourne?”

They added that she was last seen at around 11.50am on Thursday, June 1.


“She is described as Irish, white, 5’3, of large build, with dyed blonde and ginger hair. She was wearing a pink hooded top, leggings, and pink sliders,” they said.

“Anyone who sees Mary-Anne or knows her whereabouts is asked to call 999 urgently and quote serial 588 of 01/06.”

Sussex police also revealed to the Irish Mirror that she remains missing this afternoon and is yet to be located.
