Davy Vanhaesendonck's grandfather recently lost his wife of 63 years.
In a bid to make him smile again, Davy and his family bought their grandfather a puppy and his reaction is heart-warming.
The video opens with Davy speaking and subtitles explain the story behind this special gift: "As most of you already know we have lost someone very special last week - especially our grandfather.
"And because he is certainly not alone and surrounded by the best friends and family - we have planned a surprise for him on this sunny day… a puppy, a little friend!"
