Protestors greeted Enda Kenny as he arrived in Roscommon yesterday to canvass with the Fine Gael candidate in the Roscommon South Leitrim by-election.
Roscommon hospital action committee by-election candidate, John Mc Dermott, and a small group gathered to confront the Taoiseach.
McDermott approached the car to ask Kenny, “are you going to speak to the people”, before being elbowed repeatedly by Fine Gael TD, Frank Feighan.
The demonstration took place outside the Fine Gael office, where the Kenny was quickly escorted.
