Ahead of the tenth anniversary of Poland joining the EU and the influx of Polish families and workers to Ireland, the country’s embassy has shared a video to say “thank you”.
The tongue-in-cheek video is in Irish with English subtitles and aims to convey the “gratitude to the Irish people for the openness and kindness they have shown to Poles in Ireland over the past decade”.

RTÉ reports that Ireland is now home to an estimated 120,000 Polish people.
