The Duchess is due to give birth any day now.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are due to welcome their third child in April and some hardcore fans are already waiting outside the hospital where Kate will give birth. More specifically, the Lindo wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

Last week, Prince William made a remark which has been construed as a clue about the royal baby and as a result, many believe they are expecting a boy.

According to a number of leading bookmakers, there’s one name that’s becoming far more popular than all the rest.

Arthur.

This traditional moniker is now the favourite for the royal baby with odds of 5/1.

A spokesperson for Paddy Power confirmed the reports:

“We’ve seen a really chunky bet on Will and Kate’s third baby being a boy this morning, so we’ve been forced to stop accepting bets as we think someone must be in the know”.

Other frontrunners include Edward, Henry, Phillip and there’s one female name too, Alice.

However, it’s clear that people are expecting the baby to be a boy if the bookies’ latest figures are anything to go by.
