It’s going to be sunny!

It’s been a while since we’ve had some seriously warm weather in Ireland. We were absolutely blessed last year with the summer temperature, but it’s been a while since we’ve been able to go to work without a jacket.

Well, it seems like the weather is going to take a really good turn this week, as today will reach up to 17 degrees.

Met Éireann said: “Dry and spring-like today with spells of hazy sunshine through after a misty start. Very mild, with highs of 12 to 17 degrees Celsius, possibly a little higher locally.

“It will be mildest in sunshine, and away from southern and eastern coasts, where mist/fog may linger and onshore breezes will persist. Southeasterly breezes will be fresh to strong along Atlantic coasts, but mainly moderate elsewhere.”

And for tomorrow: “Dry and fairly sunny in many areas on Tuesday with light southeast breeze, once early mist and fog patches clear. However, some fog may linger along some southern and eastern coasts. Another relatively mild February day with highs of 11 to 16 degrees Celsius, best values away from south and southeast counties.”
