Bride demands refund for ‘ugliest cake ever’, baker blasts her online

Look lads, people have different tastes when it comes to wedding paraphernalia. Some people like giant dresses that you need the whole team to maintain as you walk down the aisle. Others like something a little more casual that actually screams high street bargain more than it does bride-to-be. Some people like extravagant cakes that can feed 2,000 people and still have mounds of icing left to feed the family the next day. Others like simple, minimalist cakes that are pretty, slick, and to the point. Like this one. A stunning and delicious looking cake, wouldn't you agree? The above creation comes from New Zealand baker, 'The Caker' and she (like the rest of us) can't figure out why one of her customers wasn't all that happy with her cake. Jordan Rondel, who goes by The Caker, expressed her grievances online. "Apparently this is the ugliest cake this customer has ever seen, so ugly it won’t be served at the wedding tomorrow," she wrote. "We had no other option than to refund them in full. "I personally loved the look of this cake, which we felt fitted what the customer asked for, and ultimately we would never send out something we weren’t happy with...so I’m completely shook." She's got over 40,000 followers on her social media, which would suggest that she's fairly good at listening to her clients and giving them something stunning for their event. One person, however, who apparently doesn't agree is one of Jordan's clients, who sent her the following email: Harsh, like. It's a nice cake. And we disagree wholeheartedly with this synopsis.
