Okay, this is impressive.

You know the way they say you should never meet your heroes?

Well, they don’t say not to knock them out of the most prestigious competition in your game.

And that’s exactly what the unreal Cori ‘Coco’ Gauff just did.

Yesterday, she knocked tennis veteran, Venus Williams, out of the Wimbledon competition.

Oh, and by the way – Cori is just 15-years-old.

How impressive is that?

Venus Williams, along with her sister Serena, is tennis royalty – having played in Wimbledon for the last 20 years.

In fact, Venus has won the competition five times, twice before Cori was born.

“I don’t even know how to explain how I feel,” Cori exclaimed as she walked off the court yesterday, following her win.

“I definitely had to tell myself to stay calm, I have never played on a court so big, but I had to remind myself that the lines on the court are the same size.

“Everything around it might be bigger, but the lines are the same and after every point, I was just telling myself to stay calm.”

“I never thought this would happen, I am literally living my dream right now, and not many get to say that.”

“So I am just happy that Wimbledon gave me the opportunity to play and I obviously never thought it would be this far.”

Cori ‘Coco’ Gauff is the youngest player to qualify for the main draw in the professional era.

We’re rooting for her to go all the way!
