Former EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas has admitted that he would still have taken part in Dancing on Ice despite it costing him his girlfriend.

Matt recently split with actress Shona McGarty amid rumours that he was involved with his skating partner Brianne (which they are denying – like we haven’t heard that one before Samia and Sylvain).

 

Matt and Brianne had some serious chemistry on the ice.

Matt told The Sun on Sunday: “I would have still done the show even though it’s cost me my relationship. It’s the show I wanted to do."

He added: “People break up every day and it’s one of those things that came to an end. Me and Shona know the ins and outs of our relationship and that’s the way it’s going to stay.”

 

Beth and Dan claimed the title yesterday evening.

But while he may have given the competition everything, it was Beth Tweddle who claimed the Dancing on Ice 2013 title last night.

The Olympic gymnast and her professional partner Dan beat both Matt and Luke Campbell thanks to the public vote.
