Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights adaptation is all anyone is talking about in the pop culture sphere, for both good and bad reasons.
It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the film has become the number one movie around the world, making it a box office hit, despite some pretty intense criticism from viewers.
Fennell's version of Wuthering Heights isn't a perfect adaptation of Emily Brontë's novel (is it even possible to adapt such a classic novel and do it justice?), but it's an enthralling, captivating, and an aesthetically beautiful movie. It often feels like a Pinterest board come to life, in both a good and bad way, but there's no denying the film is visually stunning.
Like any modern-day movie, the press tour has captured our attention with Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi attending premieres across the world, and appearing in every second video on our social feeds. Margot Robbie has perfected her style for the Wuthering Heights press tour, with the Australian actress appearing in some of the most ethereal, gothic-inspired looks on red carpets in London, Sydney and Los Angeles.

Her press tour looks have been simply breathtaking, but it's her makeup that is inspiring beauty trends just a week after the film's premeire. The period drama makeup has been elevated with the release of both Wuthering Heights and Bridgerton, and it's one beauty trend we just can't get enough of.
What we love most about this emerging beauty trend is how simple the makeup is. Gone are the days when we layered on so much makeup that we could barely see our natural features. The period-drama makeup trend is the opposite of the Full Glam looks we were obsessed with in 2016.
It takes a lot less makeup (and time) to achieve this flushed makeup look that Margot Robbie has been sporting throughout the press tour.
Even in the Wuthering Heights movie, Catherine Earnshaw is often sporting a windswept, flushed look, which is achieved using a deep red blush.
Her makeup artist has even revealed one key product that helps tie the look together, and it's a designer blush that doubles as a lip product.
Margot Robbie's makeup artist posted a video of how she achieved the 1800s romance makeup look and swears by the Chanel Lip and Cheek Balms.
She used the N°1 de Chanel Lip and Cheek Balm in Berry Boost and Red Camellia on Margot Robbie, and shoppers are rushing to buy the product.
Margot's makeup artist, Patti Dubroff, explained that she blends Berry Boost and Red Camelia on her hand before applying them to Margot's cheeks.
She confirmed that the period drama makeup look is "all about the blush."
You can pick up the Chanel Lip and Cheek Balm here.
However, it will set you back €50 per shade, so we recommend the Merit Flush Balm in Après if you're looking for a cheaper alternative.
You can buy it here.
