Kerry Katona has called off her wedding to George Kay after filing for bankruptcy last week.
The former Atomic Kitten star, who was declared bankrupt for the second time in five years on Tuesday, has told friends that she cannot afford to walk down the aisle.
Kerry and George have postponed their wedding.
An insider told The Mirror: “Kerry decided she could not afford the wedding."
They added: "She is also keen not to be seen living it up and is aware that hosting a wedding where celebrities would be quaffing champagne would look outrageous after the bankruptcy.”
Kerry and her family are also said to be moving out of their five bedroom home which reportedly costs £3,000 a month.

The singer was declared bankrupt and dropped by lending company Cash Lady.
Speaking out about her financial situation, which also saw her dropped as the face of Cash Lady, the singer-turned-reality-star said: “I’m embarrassed by all of this. People will think I’ve been an idiot again although I’ve tried to be sensible.”
She tweeted yesterday: “We all make mistakes. Don’t pass judgement unless you yourself are also ready to be judged.”
The mother-of-four is apparently determined to cut down on her expenses and thus is likely to tie the knot next year.
