We will be very sad to say goodbye to Paris Haute Couture Week this season as there has been truly amazing designs showcased in recent days.
While Dior, Chanel, Giambattista Valli and Elie Saab went with voluminous show-stopping pieces, the Armani and Valentino collections concentrated more on sharp lines and sophisticated cuts.
Don't get us wrong, we will be dreaming about Elie Saab's princess worthy dresses for weeks to come but it's Valentino's Grecian dresses and Armani's swing jackets that will be replicated across the high-street.
There are of course some stand-out items in the Valentino collection, namely the shimmering gold floor-length gown with floral designs, it's a beaut.
Flat gladiator sandals and tapestry prints brought a sense of the old world to proceedings but the impeccable tailoring and plush fabrics kept things modern.
