Aoibhín Garrihy recycled her bridesmaids' dresses for baby Hanorah's christening dress

The cuteness!

New mum Aoibhín Garrihy was clearly as proud as punch on Saturday as she and her family celebrated the christening of her daughter Hanorah.

The two-month-old was baptised in Co Clare where Aoibhín and her husband, hotelier John Burke, live.

Taking to Instagram to share images of the day, she said it was “the most wonderful day for the most precious little girl.”

Aoibhín and baby Hanorah even donned matching outfits for the special day – mum wore a white dress and jacket while the tot was dressed in a matching sparkly white floral gown.

The actress revealed that she had designed her little girl’s dress herself, using the dress that her sister Ailbhe had worn as her bridesmaid in 2016, while the dress she was wearing was Doireann’s bridesmaid dress.

“Ailbhe Garrihy parted with her bridesmaid’s dress for Hanorah and Doireann Garrihy gave me hers so we could be twinning!” Aoibhín explained in her Instagram story.

Ailbhe was on auntie duties, meanwhile.

She wore a suit from Mango for the occasion – check out the trousers here and the blazer here.
