Bohemian Vibes at Burberry For London Fashion Week

Suede fringing, ponchos and prints suggested a return of 70s style.

Christopher Bailey presented his Fall/Winter 2015 Burberry collection yesterday and it looks like 70s style is to make a grand return next season.

Jackets with suede fringing, thigh-high boots in stand-out shades of teal and ochre, flowing maxi dresses and printed ponchos resulted in an achingly cool yet entirely wearable collection.

Speaking about the collection entitled ‘Patchwork, Patterns and Prints’, Bailey said that although the collection has a 70s feel it “didn’t start with an era, it started with the idea of folk, which is traditionally British but also, in the mirror embroidery, blends with different cultures.

“That to me is what Britishness is all about”.

Ideally, style should be easy and effortless and the laid-back feel of this line would suggest that boho is where it’s at for AW15 * silently screams YAY*
