Designer and balloon artist Rie Hosokai aka Daisy Balloon has created a rather unusual dress made entirely out of white LEGO bricks.
This innovative creation was put together by Hosokai for the Piece of Peace world heritage exhibit, whose contributors were invited to create something made of the famous building blocks.

The LEGO dress and the balloon dress it was modeled after.
“We construct things from the most basic building blocks” says the reflective description of the exhibit on Hosokai’s website.
“What are we to discover from this process? To find the answer, we must continue to turn our gaze toward those around us.”
The design of the LEGO dress is actually based on one of Hosokai’s own dresses made entirely from balloons. Bit risky if you're out on the town and people see you as walking bubblewrap.
All in all we're not too sure if the dress would be very practical to put on though, we'd be afraid of it all falling apart!
