Candy Crush goes high fashion with Moschino to celebrate 5th birthday

Niamh Maher

Did you think the Candy Crush craze was over? Well, think again…

We can’t quite wrap our heads around the fact that the popular mobile game is 5 years old.To celebrate their birthday they’ve teamed up with Moschino (who else?!) to design a capsule collection inspired by the fruity game.

The brand’s creative director Jeremy Scott is hoping to capitalise on the popularity of the game and of course Coachella proved to be the perfect stomping ground to launch the pieces.

We have to admit… we’re liking the collection,

Here’s the kicker, to walk around looking like your favourite game won’t be cheap, the Italian fashion brand is known for its luxurious pieces.

The prices are a bit mental, the schoolbag is going for $650 (€609.10), the phone case will cost you $70 (€65.64), the one piece is a cool $300 (€281.31) and the swim trunks for men are going for $205 (€192.23 ).

As an un-named member of the Her family astutely pointed out, we’d pay that much if people would stop inviting us to play.

If you an afford it you can find the full capsule collection here.
