Fashion High Five: Aideen Bodkin’s Collection for the Kilkenny Shop

Feminine fashion that's fit for the races...

Rebecca McKnight

Heading to the Galway Races this summer? You might want to look this way for some style inspiration.

Irish designer Aideen Bodkin will be at the Kilkenny Shop Nassau St this coming Saturday 11th July from 12-4pm to launch her exclusive new collection Dress by Aideen.

The event is free and offers the chance to meet one of Ireland’s most successful home-grown designers.

Designed exclusively for Kilkenny in the lead up to this year’s Galway Races, Dress by Aideen is available now in Kilkenny’s Nassau St, Swords, Cork and Galway outlets. The line comes shortly after the announcement that Kilkenny are the new sponsor of the Best Dressed Lady competition at Ireland’s favourite racing event.

According to Aideen, the concept for the new label revolves around creating pieces that work for your wardrobe.

The 13-piece capsule collection encompasses a range of dresses and separates, some created using a unique embossed floral material developed by Aideen specifically for the range.
