Get Ready For Ireland’s Biggest Fashion Show In Aid Of ARC Cancer Support

Ireland's biggest fashion show is to take place at the RDS on Monday 10th March, in aid of ARC cancer support. Some of the country's leading designers will showcase their wares on the night, including both established names and emerging talents. Over 800 guests are expected, together with special guest of honour broadcaster Keelin Shanley, who has battled breast cancer in the past. Esteemed designers taking part include John Rocha, Louise Kennedy, Helen Cody and Richard Lewis. Rebecca Marsden, one of six designers nominated for an international award, the HOMI Maker Design Award for 2014, will also show on the night. The ARC fashion show will feature collections and accessories from Svitlana Andriyets, Aideen Bodkin, Mark T. Burke (millinery), Una Burke,  Helen Cody, Natalie Coleman, Claire Doyle,  Lucy Downes (Sphere One), Tuula Harrington (jewellery), Heather Finn, Honor Fitzsimons, Delphine Grandjouan, Heidi Higgins, Dairine & Keira Kennedy (KDK scarves),  Louise Kennedy, Richard Lewis, Emma Kate Manley ( Manley,) Rebecca Marsden, Niamh O’Neill, Sophie Rieu (Unicorn),  Lisa Ryder (scarves & bags) and Lisa Shawgi. One of Mark Burke's stunning creations All proceeds raised from the show will go to the ARC support centre which offers a range of free support, counselling and therapy services to men and women living with cancer, their families, parents of children affected by the disease and to friends and carers. Luxury department store Brown Thomas, a champion of Irish design, is teaming up with ARC for the big night. Many of the designers participating in the fashion show also featured in the successful ‘Create’ initiative, engineered by Brown Thomas 'Create' is now widely recognised as the premier retail showcase for Irish fashion design and innovation. Beauty wizards from Lancôme will be on hand to make up a team of professional models and all attendees will receive a Lancôme gift. Eight models will also feature in a tribute to ARC, modelling designs by milliner Mark Burke.
