This rarely happens!

Holly Willoughby is known for her style wins and the TV presenter has gained a large following thanks to her daily 'outfit of the day posts' on Instagram. Her followers constantly rave about her sense of style and how they want to imitate her look...until today that is. The mother of three shared her latest look on social media this morning but it's been branded 'frumpy' by a number of commenters. Ouch. As you'll see below, the 36-year-old wore a ribbed polo-neck sweater from French Connection and a printed skirt in the same shade by Ghost. The outfit was finished off with Maje boots but this particular ensemble didn't delight everyone, unlike every other outfit of late.

Before we go any further, it's important to note that Holly is entitled to wear whatever she wants and that she always looks fabulous. That said, it's understandable that people will like some style choices more than others. Here's one of the comments:

"Outfit a little too old for a young lady".

One person said:

"I love her skirt but it is suitable for an older lady, not a woman of Holly's age".

Someone else wrote:

"Too wintery, and why a roll neck top? It's not even cold yet".

Then there this was:

"Holly I normally love your outfits, but this? Are you a 50s something teacher".

It continued then with a 'fuddy-duddy' comparison and another commenter who said that Holly looked like she was going horse-riding. Although there were a few negative comments, the TV personality's loyal fans were quick to chip in and said that her outfit was ideal for autumn.
