Irish designer Simone Rocha has been named as Harper’s Bazzar Young Designer of the Year.

Simone is no stranger to illustrious awards having received the titles of Emerging Womenswear Designer award at the British Fashion Awards 2013 and New Designer of the Year Award at The Elle Style Awards 2013 .

Previously described by Vogue as “wildly successful”, her imaginative and unique designs wowed critics when showcased at London Fashion Week.

November 14 is another landmark date for Simone as this is the day her collaboration with US jeans label J Brand will launch in London’s Dover Street Market.

Simone, daughter of internationally successful designer John Rocha, was pictured with her award in one of her own designs last night at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year awards.

Model Elisa Sednaoui, pictured below alongside Simone, is also dressed in Simone Rocha and the floral appliqué is just one example of the stunning detail incorporated into her designs.
